The Water Label and Altecnic's Calflow Plus

07/05/2012 | What started as a simple germ of an idea to inform the public of the water consumption of bathroom products has grown to be an internationally recognised labelling scheme. The BMA’s Water Label now has over 2000 products listed in its on-line database and consumers and bathroom professionals alike can search the entries for the products which best suit their needs. Furthermore they can be confident in the knowledge that these special products save water and energy – and hence reduce those ever-rising utility bills. “The Water Label’s taps and showers section is now being adopted in Europe” comments Yvonne Orgill, chief executive of the BMA “and its growing database is testimony to the design and marketing skills of BMA members. We are delighted to welcome Altecnic's Calflow Plus flow regulator as the first product of its type to the scheme.” Calflow Plus is now a Recommended Product and as such can carry the Water Label. The fully searchable database can be found at www.water-label.eu
