kbb buzz for The Water Label

07/04/2014 | Members of the Bathroom Manufacturers Association reflected on the much-improved optimism in the industry at the recent kbb exhibition. The latest trends in bathrooms were on display but it was The European Water Label which created the major buzz during the exhibition. The Water Label has seen rapid progress, development and growth since its inception. What started off as a germ of an idea eight years ago has grown and developed to become the benchmark and award winning labelling scheme approved by the UK government, supported by two European trade associations, major builders merchants and retailers. It is voluntary, free from government interference and used in 32 countries in Europe and beyond. With over 6500 products from 61 well-known brands registered in the database, the Water Label clearly shows how much water a product will consume and is proving an important component in the architects’ toolbox. www.europeanwaterlabel.eu
